Welington Fonseca brings a wealth of experience from the directory industry in South America. Having worked for five years as marketing manager for R.R. Donnelley & Sons in the region he is intimately familiar with the peculiarities of those markets, including its regulatory dynamics. Welington has worked with various directory publishers in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, and Mexico, and partnered with the Brazilian’s National Telecommunications Agency in passing new laws regulating the directory industry post privatization. Most recently he worked as a director of database marketing and market research at Borders Group Inc. Welington holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Welington is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
